Buses available for Michigan fans to cheer on the Wolverines at UConn

Sports Power Weekends, Inc. is offering Michigan fans in New York City an opportunity to support the squad on the road against UConn.

Coach buses will be running on Saturday, September 21, arriving at Rentschler Field three hours prior to kickoff. The buses will return to New York shortly after the conclusion of the game.


The Details

What: Roundtrip coach buses to Rentschler Field and BYO tailgate opportunity for Michigan fans in New York City to support the team against UConn.

When: Buses will be departing five hours before kickoff, allowing for three hours of tailgating. Kickoff time and exact departure time are TBD.

Where: Exact departure location in NYC will be available shortly.

How much: Bus spots can be reserved for $60. This includes your roundtrip bus spot, snacks on the bus, and a spot to tailgate with Michigan fans prior to kickoff. Fans will be able to bring beverages on the bus (must be over 21 to drink alcoholic beverages).

Game Tickets

Coach bus options that include game tickets can also be purchased for $185 each. Groups of four will be seated together, and our best efforts will be made to seat groups larger than four next to one another.

Rally with a Tennis Legend!

With VIP experiences from The PowerShares Series you can play on the court with a tennis legend! One-hour clinics are available in 12 different cities in October and November, giving you the chance to play on the court with Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, John McEnroe, Jimmy Connors, Jim Courier, and other Grand Slam champions!

The PowerShares Series will make stops at arenas in 12 US cities, pitting four champions against one another in a one-night-only event. Stops on the tour include: Surprise, AZ (Oct. 13); Chicago (Oct. 17); Detroit (Oct. 18); Boston (Oct. 19); Philadelphia (Nov. 2); New York City (Nov. 5); Tampa (Nov. 9); Atlanta (Nov. 10); San Jose (Nov. 16); Las Vegas (Nov. 17); Denver (Nov. 29); and Anaheim (Nov. 30).

Three different VIP experiences are being offered by Sports Power Weekends via the PowerShares Series, including the player clinic experience, the player backstage experience, and the player Q&A with hospitality experience. What those three entail is listed below:

Player Clinic Experience

  • Exclusive one-hour group clinic with two headlining players on the arena court
  • An autographed photo of you with the clinic headliners
  • Entry to a pre-match hospitality event with dinner, featuring a Q&A session with all four headlining players, emceed by a Tennis Channel personality

Price: $1,500

Player Backstage Experience

  • Backstage meet and greet with all four headlining players before the matches start
  • An autographed photo of you with the clinic headliners
  • Player walk out: Accompany the players as they leave the backstage area and take center court
  • Entry to a pre-match hospitality event with dinner, featuring a Q&A session with all four headlining players

Price: $750

Player Q&A with Hospitality Experience

  • Entry to a pre-match hospitality event featuring all four players with dinner and open bar
  • Rub shoulders with the players and hear their thoughts on all topics in a Q&A session

Price: $250

NOTE: Tickets to the actual matches are not included in the above experiences, and range from $45-250 each, depending on the city.
